Constructive acted as Development Consultant to procure and manage the professional team to deliver a change-of-use planning application  from a retail  to a mixed-use residential development.

Planning Consent achieved Q4 2019.

Project information
  • A new master plan for the local area – including our site – was adopted during the planning phase of this project
  • This change resulted in a drastically amended scheme and presented a challenge to provide servicing and play space requirements to meet standards. Understanding our client’s aspirations and constraints was critical to the smooth running of this project
  • Engagement with the development team within the local council meant we overcame issues to assist the council with the master plan, plus their ownership of the adjoining site. The design delay created a potential cost implication for the client, however; careful management of the team ensured the total project budget was not exceeded
